Mashallah 😍 🎉
Mashallah Tabarkallah 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😍😍
And that is Pappou's sheet too!!
Genial
I ran across some years ago. When you threw a couple logs on the bonfire people would honestly back a few feet.Would burn for thirty minutes and the logs looked like I just threw them in.However I use an axe to split and to this day it’s been the most challenging
Where's the recipe? Where's the preparation? We didn't need to see you struggle w your instant pot for the whole two minutes.. Where's the creation after it's cooked? Why did you put this on? It shows nothing but your enthusiasm. Hope it all turned out delicious.
Looks great! Hope to see you guys sometime soon!
My family is from Nikkia
Opaaaaaaa!
*Promo sm* 😳
I have heard that unlike most other woods, you can use it green. Obviously, it's not nearly as good that way, but in a pinch, it could work
Thanks so much for the update, Paul, the place looks glorious.
Do you have a tictok?
Fast? Mine took 1 year to grow. And then we had to chop them all down they got way too tall😂
Beautiful
Wow nice.
Awe
What part of Nashville are you in? My soil seems compacted like rock. However we😵 have many trees around but not fruit.
can you stuff your wood stove full for long hot fire
osage orange firewood stuff you wood stove full for hot long burn
I love this almond resin. It comes out after fires as well. I collect it in spain. Got some beautiful nuggets here, a treasure.
Best fertilizer for poplar tree
Shame to use Bois d'arc for fire wood.
Is this poplar or tulip poplar?
Today's Mail crossword (sat) has a clue Poplar tree.5 letters any idea?
@@keithharvey7230 tulip
It’s has very close relative called the Osage orange that mammoths ate and giant sloths and squirrels and humans eat the seeds you should grow it and see if you can hybridize it to get bigger fruit.
How much old this tree I think 50 years
I cant tell if the logs i have is Osage or not. I have split & sold thousands of fcs over the years but have never seen Osage up till now possibly. Bright yellow when split with a very strong sweet smell if you removed the bark & smelled the wood.Is there anyone willing to allow me to send pics of it to their email? Thanks!!
Its yellow like mulberry and mulberry is the most overlooked wood there is.... No one realizes its about the same As red oak
0:59 surely if my hearth comes out a fair way from the stove and im careful and use tongs put it in it cant be too bad? theres a few other videos of people burning this wood in stoves out there...
I always make sure I cut my osage orange into rounds right away. If let to dry it becomes a chainsaw blade eater. If for some reason I have to cut an seasoned log, I use a carbide blade.
Got my hands on it 2 years ago from a truckload of logs…my God. It was my first time seeing it and I immediately disliked it come bucking and splitting time. But I really loved the color which fades quickly as you said. I honestly couldn’t tell after awhile it was Osage but we did have a nice burning season 👍🏼
I have seen osage fence posts last over 100 years. awesome stuff. melted my grandpa's firebox. not for the inexperienced. only wood that will dull your chainsaw.
in ky we call it hedge apple and it throws sparks just cutting it sometimes and its definitely saws have killed a couple of popular saws even twisted the crankshaft in two
The powder post beetles will not go into the heart wood. They have no problem with the sap wood. The leaves, husks of the nuts, and shavings from the tree are good weed killers, and you do not want any walnut saw dust around your animals as it can kill them. The black walnut is being hit hard by 1000 cankers disease out here in Oregon. Personally it is a nice wood, but I can't work it any more. It makes me sneezy and itchy.
How to grow a walnut tree: 1. plant literally anything. 2. Wait for squirrel to dig it up and replace it with a walnut seed
Good filed to search treasure with metal detecting.
looks cool
Yeah. Go ahead and cut em down anywhere you find em. Just not MY poplar trees.
are they fire tolerant?
How old are the,
All people are thinking of trees is making wood. 🪵 Trees aren’t only here to make wood, they are here to make beauty
Also, I feel at ease among the trees !
What is the difference between poplar, river birch, and cottonwood tree?
River birch leaves are very different to poplar leaves. And also birch has pealing bark and poplar doesn’t. It’s hard to explain and mostly only people who are into trees know
I have to say I wish my location had this wood type for firewood. Osage Orange has the highest BTUs of all the woods. Rot proof wood to say the least. Nice
Hi

Hii
How old is???
Klass
This stuff will blow first sized chunks of flaming hell into your living room while you take cover because you think someone is doing a drive-by. Do NOT use this in an open fireplace...
How old is this tree and its estimated weight?
75 years old and about 25000 pounds
I'm in Franklin, TN and I've been looking for some Pawpaw trees but I haven't had any luck of finding them :(
Not true. Osage Orange rots like any other wood. Osage is just more resistant to rotting..
It doesn’t rot I have this wood everywhere on my property.
@@heffdogg420 you don't know what you're talking about. All wood eventually rots. I have an old rotted osage log on my property so there you go...
@@bank80 I guess it depends on the setting. The old church of cahokia il. Built 1786 still has original exterior black walnut walls nothing put on them.
I personally know of osage fence posts that have been in the ground for 100+ years. so sorry you are wrong.
@@GozonTheGonsarian Lol, you guys are complete idiots if you believe Osage lasts forever and doesn't rot 😂😆
